A classic look at the essentially barren landscape of the desert that surrounds me on every side.  Some may find it beautiful, and in its own way, it does possess an element of beauty, but I find myself feeling less and less inspired and more and more ready to return to the more awe-inspiring landscapes of the northwest.  Only a little longer and I’ll be back home…
