Had a little fun the other night taking a few shots of one of the pool tables here at the RV park where we’re staying.  I shot both of these pictures at around 11:00 at night with the lights out, so what you see in these images is the result of one strobe light flashed multiple times during a long exposure.

I really like the effect I was able to attain in the top image.  I only fired the flash once from down low, bringing out the depth of the objects on the table and giving the overall image an early-morning-window-light feel.  I appreciate the simplicity of the lighting as well as of the image as a whole.
The photo below is actually a compilation of a couple images.  One image of the pool-shark, one of the cue-ball in motion, one of the lights on the table, and one of the lights highlighting the cushions.  I really like the perspective of this shot, looking on from the corner as the 8-ball is about to be shot into the pocket.  The motion in the shot is pretty cool, and the anticipation of what is about to happen is what I think makes this image so interesting.
Anyways, here they are, hope you enjoy them.  More images coming next week…
