Shot this up on Steptoe Butte at sunset several years ago.  Not exactly the type of image I went up there to get (envision a bird’s eye view of thousands of acres of rolling wheatfields below you, basking in the warm rays of the setting sun; yeah I was up there to take landscape shots).  But I like the message that this image conveys.  It’s almost as if we find ourselves on the inside of the fence, kept back or prohibited from exploring and enjoying the beauty on the other side.  I especially like the details of the barbed wire and the twisted ends of the chain-link fence.  It really makes for a fascinating silhouette shot.
