My favorite end-of-the-year project for the last three years has been creating the annual family photo.  I’ve had a lot of fun and have found it to be challenging and exciting to come up with something new and creative each year.  This year’s project was no exception.

Here’s the final product in all its glory as well as some of the original images that were later composited into the final piece.  Also at the end of this post is an animated .gif that breaks down the image into all of its individual components and shows just how the image was built.
